AMTR Auditor Profile
AMTR auditors are fully certified auditors, NOT audit clerks. Certification
comes after completing a five year program. Auditors complete three years of training as
an assistant to the certified audit staff and to the audit support staff. Two more years
are required as an apprentice auditing under the immediate supervision of a certified
auditor. This "on-the-job training" is supplemented by five study courses with testing
as well as IT training in preparation for handling large blocks of electronic records.
Our senior rail auditor and rail trainer has a forty year history in transportation
with
thirty of those years as a rail auditor. Our audit operations manager and rail/truck
trainer has twenty seven years experience as an auditor.
The knowledge and skill of the AMTR audit staff is the best available.
