Co-Founder
Before his passing on September 11, 2020, Ed had 50+ years in the transportation industry – three years in rates and freight bill auditing with the Missouri Pacific Railroad, 17 years in the traffic department for Reynolds Metals, and 30+ years representing shippers as a freight cost auditor.
As AMTR’s co-founder, he helped to transform the company from a two-man operation to a multi-million dollar yearly revenue company. More specifically, from AMTR’s inception to 2004, Ed was a hands-on instructor/trainer for rail auditor trainees and apprentices in the AMTR auditor certification program, and the leader of the original design team responsible for the development of the certification program. He was also heavily involved in the development of all AMTR proprietary audit software and systems. During his many years in the industry, he worked as an auditor for some of the largest rail shippers in the USA.
