Genie began at AMTR in 2002, worked her way up the ranks, and now leads company daily audit operations. With much of her experience focused on rail freight auditing, she has extensive knowledge of the rail industry’s history and current operations as well as the systems and data used by companies to conduct business.
While with AMTR, she has spurred innovation using her insight and database/data mining skills to support the development of AMTR’s proprietary IT tools and knowledge-based discovery processes. As the lead auditor trainer since 2008, Genie has also been instrumental in strengthening and refining the AMTR auditor certification program. She is a member of the National Industrial Transportation League.
Prior to AMTR, Genie worked in the import business where she gained experience in customs duties/brokering and also served as a warehouse manager.
She served on active duty in the U.S. Army as a Traffic Management Coordinator from 1988 to 1991.
